Mobile-First Index Audit
Let our SEO experts ensure your website is ready for Google’s mobile-first index
WHAT IS A MOBILE-FIRST INDEX?
As of the end of 2016, Google has started testing a new, mobile-first index. This means that rankings of both websites and apps will be judged based on mobile-focused criterias and will be crawled primarily using a smartphone user agent.
The primary content and markup on the mobile and desktop sites need to be the same.
Structured data markup should be served for both the desktop and mobile versions.
The mobile version of the website has to be accessible to Googlebot.
GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE
If you have a separate mobile website, both the desktop and the mobile versions need to have a verified Google Search Console account.
APP INDEXATION AND DEEP LINKING
If you have a mobile app, we’ll check whether it’s integrated into your organic search strategy and how best to optimise its benefits for your rankings.
We will run tests on your website to make sure it meets the criteria for mobile friendliness, and if it’s not, our UX designers will recommend a solution.
AMPLIFIED MOBILE PAGES (AMP)
AMP pages are super-fast versions of your mobile pages created in special AMP markup, which make waiting for loading virtually non-existent.
We’ll have a look at how we can improve your site speed using techniques like minification, caching, image compression and others.
